The building, which is steeped in history (the area formerly belonged to the Wald monastery), was extensively renovated in 2021-2024 and developed into a smart seminar and event center with (outdoor) gastronomy and vacation apartments. The building is located directly on the waterfront, but can also be reached through the courtyard from Hafenstraße (pedestrian zone, traffic-calmed) - on foot, by bike or e-bike, or even by car. The car is best parked in one of the many Überlingen parking garages. The closest one is called "Parkhaus Post" (Mühlenstraße 4, 88662 Überlingen) and is about 400 meters away. The bus stop Landungsplatz and the pier of the same name are only about 200 meters away.

In addition, it is possible to arrive directly by SUP or kayak, sailing or motor boat.

In the adjacent old town you will find within walking distance a rich selection of stores, grocers, supermarket, but also many restaurants and cafes. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, the Überlingen weekly and farmer's market also takes place in the old town all year round. Highly recommended.

A town to fall in love with? We think so. But first to the sober facts: Überlingen is a town on the northern shore of Lake Constance. With its approximately 25,000 inhabitants, it is the second largest city in the Lake Constance district. Old in history (since 1180 with its own town charter) and rich in tourist attractions (e.g. Lake Constance, Mainau Island, Affenberg, Unteruhldingen pile dwellings, Birnau Monastery, Salem Castle and the nearby Austrian, German or Swiss Alps).

Our pretty little town is also located on the Lake Constance cycle path and the Lake Constance circular hiking trail, but can also be reached by train, boat and, of course, by car. Not to mention divers or the skydiving part of the population, who will certainly find other special accesses. The rest of us travel conventionally. Yes, also by plane. The nearest airports are Friedrichshafen (about 45 minutes away), Zurich (about 70 minutes away) or Stuttgart (about 90 minutes away).
